Chelsea Celebrates Back to School
The Rotary Club of Chelsea helped the Chelsea Public School System celebrate school opening for the 2017 – 2018 school year by distributing books to children attending the local school system.   The Chelsea Rotary Club purchased over 500 used books for children in grades 1 through 12.  They were then given to children who attended the Back to School Celebration at the Chelsea Middle School.  Participating in the distribution was President David Mindlin, Past President Brian Hatleberg and two of his children.
Topsfield Fall Foliage Classic
The Rotary Club of TBM will hold its 38th Annual "Topsfield Fall Foliage Classic" on Sunday, October 15, at 1:00 PM at the Proctor School, 60 Main Street in Topsfield. There are officially timed 5 mile, and 5K races as well as a 1.25 mile "Fun Run" and 3.0 mile "Family Walk". There are prizes, raffles and refreshments for all participants.

Proceeds from this year's race will benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition as well as current TBM Rotary initiatives including literacy in local schools, Tri-town food pantries and hurricane relief efforts.
Huge Turnout for Reading's Fall Street Faire
On Sunday, September 10, an enormous crowd estimated over 15,000 attended the Reading Fall Street Faire organized by Reading Rotary. This was the first year for the Rotary club hosting the event, which had been run by the Town of Reading for 8 previous years. The Town had initiated the Faire as a community event for raising funds for downtown improvements. The Town of Reading approached Reading Rotary to take over running the event in large part due to stretching thin of Town resources due to budgetary issues.

The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.
