TBM Rotary completed a successful year under the leadership of President Dan Mackey. Club members gathered on June 27th at Beverly Airport for a cookout and the Annual 50/50 drawing. President Dan flew away to celebrate the year during which the Club supported hurricane victims in Houston with a $10,000 donation to Rotary Clubs in Houston and sent a deserving family to Disney World in May along with the annual array of service projects and community support.
Ipswich Inducts 73rd Member!
Ipswich Rotary President Cushing Titcomb inducted a new member into the Ipswich Club on June 13th. Betsy Frost became the 73rd member of Ipswich Rotary. Shown in the photo are President Cushing; Betsy; and Bob Gravino, Betsy’s club sponsor. Betsy’s father, Oakley Melrose Frost, and grandfather, Oakley Taylor Frost, were members of Rotary in Vermont. Ipswich has an evening meeting on the second Wednesday of every month to accommodate club members not able to attend the club’s long-time traditional Thursday morning meetings. One additional new member is in line to be inducted into the Ipswich Club, and two prospective candidates are in the wings.
