On August 5^th we will be having a District Business Meeting, on Zoom, to take care of administrative tasks.  All club Presidents and Secretaries have been emailed the credentials for electors for their clubs and asked to return them to Tom Hankard, Chair of the Credentials Committee at TomHankard@yahoo.com.  Any member of the District is welcome to attend this meeting and learn more about the state of the District.

Also sent to the Clubs was a revision to the existing ByLaws of the District which will need to be approved by the majority of Electors present. We will also be confirming the appointment of Lori Karas as District Governor Nominee, and the positions of Assistant Treasurer, Secretary and Assistant Secretary as well as a new member of the Permanent Fund.

The Medford Rotary Club recently presented $11,500 in scholarship awards to graduating seniors from the City of Medford. The students were recognized for their academic achievement, community service and leadership. Congratulations to our recipients for their hard work, leadership and dedication to our community. Ed Hackett and his committee diligently reviewed all of the applications and chose the following recipients:

The Medford Club welcomed District Governors of District 7930.

Terry greeted the members of the Medford Rotary thanking them for all their hard work and service over the past 18 months, especially during the Pandemic. She encouraged them to "keep helping" others through the many service projects that we undertake annually. The club is currently planning their annual Dictionary Giving, where they provided each 3rd grader in Medford with a student dictionary. Also in the works is their Annual Charter Night to celebrate their 98 anniversary as a Chartered Rotary Club.

The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin. Stories that showcase your club or event should be submitted via the website portal at this link.

 

The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.
