The Rotary Club of Rockport celebrated the 4th of July in style! The day always begins with the reading of the Declaration of Independence in Dock Square at 10:00am. The crowd is instructed to respond with a “Huzzah” when something good is read, or a “Fi” when something reprehensible occurs! Rotarians are dressed in period costumes and encourages audience participation.Later in the day, festive club members participated in the parade on a float decorated with the Statue of Liberty and signs inviting new members.
