Dictionaries for Third Graders

This week The Burlington Rotary Club continued its annual Rick Karwan Memorial Dictionary Program, by giving every third grade student in Burlington's four elementary schools a new dictionary. Shown above are four Burlington Rotary club members at one of the schools and the stacks of dictionaries to be given out, and one of the school teachers preparing the students for a short program delivered by a Rotarian which includes an introduction to words in the dictionary related to the principles of Rotary and its unselfish helping of people in need around the world.
