The Doyon Elementary School EarlyAct Club, sponsored by Ipswich Rotary, volunteered at the Ipswich Dinner Bell on March 26th.  Over 35 4th and 5th graders served the multi-course dinner and mingled with those in attendance.  Doyon teachers and EarlyAct Club leaders Andrea Welsh and Elyesse Brand, assisted by Ipswich Rotarian Steve Rogé, ensured that food delivery, after dinner clean-up, and socialization with the attendees went smoothly and successfully.

Ipswich Dinner Bell is a town-wide non-profit collaboration among Ipswich churches, individuals, and groups that exists to serve hot and nutritious meals free to all who come, while creating a mealtime atmosphere of fellowship. Meals are served every Monday evening at the Masonic Hall in Ipswich. The Ipswich Rotary Club sponsors a Dinner Bell meal once each quarter, and the Ipswich High School Interact Club and Doyon Elementary School EarlyAct Club sponsor a Dinner Bell meal once each year. Weekly participation by Ipswich Rotarians has been an easy and enjoyable way to be involved in community service, especially for Service Membership Rotarians.
