Help us Expand our Reach on social media.  We had to start a new D7930 Facebook Page.  Our original Page is currently out of commission.  We ask all Rotarians and friends to Like and Follow our new Page.  Please invite your FB friends to like and follow.  Our original Page had over 1000 followers.  Our new page now has just over 160 followers.  We need Rotary members to take part in increasing the impact and reach of Rotary's Public Image.

We ask all Rotarians on Facebook to help Expand Our Reach by inviting your contacts to Like and Follow our new Page.

I also want to note that our District also has a D7930 Facebook Group.  What is the difference between our Page and our Group?

A Page is a place on Facebook businesses, brands, organizations and nonprofits can connect with their fans or customers. When someone likes or follows a Page on Facebook, they can start seeing updates from that Page in their Feed.  Posts can only be made by the Admins.  It is the outward, to the public facing presence of the organization.

A Group is a place to communicate about shared interests with certain people. You can create a group for anything — your family reunion, your after-work sports team, your book club — and customize the group's privacy settings depending on who you want to be able to join and see the group.  Posts on the Group wall can be created by Members not just Admins.  It is intended more for internal sharing/communication.

Facebook can be an effective, free tool to promote your club. Like, share, tag and repost!

Also, please follow, like and share other Rotary Clubs on Facebook and other social media.  We can all help each other to Increase our Reach.
