Providing funds for camperships and scholarships are one of the most visible and important community projects for The Marblehead Rotary Club. This week, the Marblehead Rotary Club kicked off its 2018 annual "Lobstah Raffle.”
This year, thirty kids are off to summer camp from last year’s raffle proceeds.
Tickets cost is $5 each or five tickets for $20. Each ticket buys you a chance to win 20 pounds of fresh lobster from Little Harbor Lobster Company. Four winning tickets will be drawn at the Marblehead Rotary Club luncheon on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Boston Yacht Club. Raffle tickets will be available throughout town over the next few weeks. Ticket sales will end on JULY 18TH.
The Marblehead Rotary would like to give a special thanks to Little Harbor Lobster Company for their support and lobster donation to the fundraising effort. Marblehead Rotary Club is especially thankful for their support. Also, special thanks goes out to our leadership, Rotarian Gail Novack (chair) and Marsha Christiansen. They have again provided the club with ongoing leadership for this special fundraising event. Also, thanks go out to our sponsors, Dr. Keith Taylor, Marblehead/Swampscott Collision, Altova, Marblehead Bank and Bluestone Capital.
Over the 4th of July week, tickets will be available at Crosby’s, Olde Town House and Abbott Hall. Rotarians will be at tables wearing “lobstah-garb.” Don’t be afraid – these are the people you want to see to purchase tickets.
