Marblehead Rotary's annual 5K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, November 3 at 11 am. Please bear in mind, daylight savings time ends, don't forget to change your clocks!Please register at Racemenu.com/2024
The run begins at the Boston Yacht Club parking lot at One Front St., Marblehead. The race will end at Crocker Park and then everyone is invited to walk down the hill to the Boston Yacht Club clubhouse for hotdogs, chowder and cookies and the award ceremony.
The proceeds from this event allows our Rotary club to support some wonderful projects. One of these projects is we provide a mindfulness program called "Inner Explorer" to all the schools in Marblehead. This program teaches the kids a set of life skills to deal with anxiety, stress, and depression. This program is used in over 5000 school districts in the country.
If this program is used regularly, it has proven measurable results in better attendance, better test scores and
better behavior.
