Celebrate Your Club’s New Leadership and Share Your Story!
As the new Rotary year begins, it’s time to celebrate fresh leadership and new beginnings! We encourage every club to share your Changeover event stories—highlight your festivities, acknowledge outgoing leaders, and welcome the new team with enthusiasm.
Be sure to share your stories and photos on your club websites, social media platforms and with local news outlets. Including photos of your incoming and outgoing leadership teams is a great way to personalize your message and show the heart of Rotary in action.
Why It Matters:
A strong Public Image is a key driver of club success and growth. When clubs consistently promote their activities and leadership transitions, they raise awareness, build credibility, and inspire community involvement. Pairing a vibrant public image with a busy calendar of service projects is a proven formula for building thriving clubs.
The District 7930 Public Image Committee is here to support your efforts. We can help ensure your club has:
- A current and engaging website
- A strategic and active social media presence
- A solid media outreach plan that connects with your local audience
Need Help Getting Started? We’ve provided a sample press release template to make it easy to share your news with local media. And remember, always include a high-quality photo when submitting press materials—it makes a big difference!
