Swampscott Delivers Holiday Baskets
The Swampscott Senior Center approached Swampscott Rotary in early November and asked if we could offer some support so they could send out some meals at Thanksgiving.  We donated $300 which was the entire cost of the meals they distributed.

Our Holiday fruit baskets go to residents of Nahant and Swampscott who are elderly, alone, housebound or ill. We also gave a number of baskets to the Senior Centers of both towns as well.

This tradition has continued for at least 50 years.  This year we distributed over 80 baskets.

Arlington Closes 2021 Strong
This November and December the Arlington, MA Rotary Club has been busy! The club supported The Salvation Army of Cambridge, Massachusetts by serving Thanksgiving Lunch with students from Arlington Catholic, raising over $400 bell ringing, donating over 100 pairs of socks and creating 20 family game night bags for families in need.

We honored Peter Lundstrom, Lead Teacher of the AHS Alternative Education Program, as a Paul Harris Fellow at Rotary District 7930's Heroes Dinner.

We collected toiletries for a drive set up by one of our members kids through the Martin Richards Foundation.

The club sponsored 10 children and teens engaged with the MA Department of Children and Families through the Wonderfund MA.

Belle Isle Christmas for Teens
The Belle Isle Rotary typically donates Market Basket gift cards during the Christmas season.  Working collaboratively within our community, this year, we decided instead to give five (5) $100 Target gift cards to the Revere High School guidance department and five (5) $100 Target gift cards to the Revere Seacoast Alternative High School guidance departments to be disbursed based upon the needs of their students/families.

The teenage group is often looked over or last thought of when it comes to Christmas generosity by local resources.  We wanted to do something in our little corner of the world for these kids. Our newest member John Kingston of the Revere City Credit Union and Revere's newest school committee member was gracious enough to deliver the gift cards for us!
