Unconscious Bias Training and Discussion
Please join the District Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the first webinar in our new DEI Discussion Series on Monday, February 22nd, at 7:00 PM on the topic of Unconscious Bias.

This webinar will be based on the renowned LinkedIn Unconscious Bias training course, and we will be watching that course together and then having a moderated interactive group discussion about our own biases and how we can learn from one another by sharing and applying these lessons to our district to make Rotary a more inclusive organization for all.

This even requires registration via the district website: please click here to go to the calendar page and then use the Online Registration buttons on the left side!

Texas Disaster
Chelsea Rotarian Juan Gallego is again looking to put the Rotary commitment to  "Service above Self" to work.  Due to the extremely cold weather in Texas and loss of electricity to heat homes thousands of Texans are living in homes with broken water pipes.  There are not enough plumbers available in Texas to rapidly repair the frozen pipes.  Juan is looking for support from Rotary District 7930 to raise funds to fly local plumbers to Texas to help repair repair the frozen pipes.  Juan has pledged $5,000 of his own funds to incubate the fund raising and has committed to get a minimum of 20 plumbers to give one week of their time to travel to Texas.  The funds raised would be used for airfare to fly the plumbers to Texas.  Anyone interested in assisting Juan with this project please contact Juan at juangallego@comcast.net.
Your Annual Fund at Work
