Medford Scholarship Awards
The Medford Rotary Club recently presented over $12,000 in scholarship awards to graduating seniors from the City of Medford. Our annual scholarship dinner was held at Avellino's as we hosted the recipients and their families. This years recipients excelled in academics, leadership and community service. What an amazing and talented group of graduating seniors with unlimited potential in front of them. They also exemplified the Rotary's motto of Service Above Self.

The recipients were presented their awards by President Rich Michienzi, and other members of the Scholarship Committee.

We wish them all the best of luck.
Reading Club Supports Global Grant
The Rotary Club of Reading presented a check on June 13th for $3,150 to District 7930’s Global Grant for Healthy Kids/Brighter Future in Zambia. The grant supports a school-based healthcare system for vulnerable children in Zambia’s capital city of Lusaka. Reading Rotarians Greg Ryan and Mike Collins are pictured presenting the check to Ipswich Rotary Club President Cushing Titcomb and Bob Gravino. The grant trains teachers as community health workers and connects children to the free and available Zambian national health care system, so that basic medical care and health education are more effectively and efficiently provided. Clubs and individuals interested in supporting this grant should contact Bob Gravino at rcgravino@aol.com.
