Cambridge Looking for Artists
The Cambridge Rotary Club invites you to support local charities and showcase your artwork by participating in the virtual "Chalk on Your Walk" event. Due to COVID, the annual "Chalk on the Walk" fundraiser in Harvard Square was cancelled. However, the groups served by the Cambridge Rotary need help more than ever!

The event will showcase artwork by artists and children online. Not only will this support many local charities, it will be a great way to document this unusual time through art.

Arlington Flags for Heroes Dedication
This year's Flags for Heroes Dedication Ceremony will be held on November 8 at 1pm. Arlington Rotary has dedicated this year's installment to the Corona Virus Heroes and in memory of Corona Virus Victims.
 
Please consider sponsoring a flag in honor or memory of your hero. They may be men and women who are serving or have served as members of the military, first responders, parents, teachers, coaches, mentors, community leaders, or other heroes.You may sponsor as many heroes as you want, and a flag with the name of your heroes will be flown at Park Circle on Park Avenue from October 25th through November 11th. To sponsor a flag for $30 or more info please visit http://arlingtonmarotaryflags.org for details.All proceeds of this fundraiser will help support Arlington Rotary Club Scholarship program and other projects the club supports in Arlington.

Arlington Assists VA Hospital
Members of Arlington Rotary Club answered the call for donations from the Bedford VA Hospital. The club and the Arlington community came together to donate over 400 books, 400 DVDs, 100 pairs of sweatpants and 100 CDs.Thank you for club member, Paul Buckley, for spearheading this effort. The Bedford VA has provided Paul with a list of other items the hospital is in need of, if you are interested in joining the cause please contact him at arlexins@gmail.com for more info.
Cambridge Donates PPE to Police
With the assistance of a special District grant for First Responders, the Rotary Club of Cambridge donated much needed disposable gloves and face masks to Cambridge's Finest.

Has your club recently hosted an event or project or are you planning something in the near future that you would like to share with your fellow District 7930 Rotarians?
 
The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin. Stories that showcase your club or event should be submitted via the website portal at this link.
 
The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.
