Carnival food starts at noon, with carnival games and cornhole, plus pickup soccer at the Boston Scores soccer court!

 

Join us for a fun service project during the afternoon as well. 

 

Stay for dinner and be treated to Melrose Club President Don Putney cooking up a delicious Pasta Dinner with dessert at 5pm served Family Style.

The Brand Center an important resource in presenting your club’s Public Image.

 

Logos and graphics:  Create customized logos that identify your club.  Rotarians are asked only to use the correct logo as generated in Brand Center.  In Brand Center there are options to generate is the club logo in other combinations (full color, all white, all black all azure blue, white and gold).

Parkway Rotary's annual softball game against Kiwanis is back:  Wednesday, June 11 at 6 pm.  We battle on the diamond for a great cause - the Jason Roberts Challenger League for children with learning and physical disabilities. The attached flyer gives the details of the game but most important of all WE NEED PLAYERS AND FANS! Our club is small but energetic however not enough members to fill the diamond so if you can please help us out!

 

As an added incentive Kiwanis will have their own district governor attending the game so we are inviting any past, present and future DGs and AGs to attend (and maybe play). Please contact Ray Fitzgerald, Parkway President and team manager if you wish to come and play or watch!

 

As a past District Governor of District 7930 and a strong advocate of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program, David Gardner has experienced firsthand the transformative impact the RYLA experience can have on a young person's life.

 

This week, he’s reaching out and asking for Rotary members’ support in helping make the RYLA experience possible for current high school students by donating to the rewarding weekend.

 

Aside from the $25 application fee RYLA remains free for all students, ensuring that every student has equal access regardless of their financial situation. To maintain this commitment, we rely entirely on the generosity of Rotary clubs within our district and individuals like you who understand the program's value. But the cost for the staff and family advisors is an out-of-pocket expense. This is where we could use your help!

On May 5, Ipswich-Rowley Rotary hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for supporters of our annual Road Race. Rotarians, volunteers and sponsors assembled in The Brewers Table at the Ipswich Ale Brewery. 

 

Rotary Board member and event co-chair Lisa Shanko spoke briefly about the event and expressed the gratitude of the club. The ‘Ipswich Ale Half Marathon for Rotary’ is the club’s signature fundraiser of the year, annually raising over $35,000 for community service projects and humanitarian support. 

 

Again this year, the club donated $10,000 to the Ipswich Family Y. Presenting the check was club Treasurer and event co-chair Ted Garside. Rotarian and Y Executive Director Chris Bevilacqua accepted on behalf of the Y. Representing the host Trustees of Reservation was Rotarian and Crane Property Director Chris Moore along with his family.
